OVERVIEW
CLIF Bar wanted to outfit their Nut Butter Bars with a new look and to bring awareness to its balanced mix of satisfying plant-based nutrients. K8C inspired by the incredible logo type lockup created by packaging designer, Cat Chmaj, developed a visual system to accent the creamy and rich nut butter texture using fun drop and dollop shapes.
A series of wavy shapes were added throughout the design system and can be found in eComm carousels, website assets, as well as product videos. A 15-sec Nut Butter Bar video was also created to quickly but clearly highlight the important product labels, ingredients, and to show off the tasty flavors.
OVERVIEW
Ubisoft is a French video game company with development studios across the world. Assassins Creed is Ubisoft’s best-selling franchise and one of the highest selling video game franchises of all time. K8C worked closely with Ubisoft’s Art Director, Jasmine Lanneo and super talented 3D artist Wil Wells, to create the design system for the release and marketing of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Drawing inspiration from Wil’s keyart and Greek architecture from 431 B.C, the visuals for this world were created using materials like marble, platinum gold, subtle metal textures, along with delicate patterns and touches of gold. Iconic colors like maroon and royal blue, accompanied by soft sunbeams and stone columns show this epic era in a gritty yet glorious light.
